Activities for the whole family

Families will find plenty to do in beautiful Heidelberg. The lively Neckar riverbank is the perfect spot for unwinding, sunbathing and relaxing. The whole family can take a pedalo on the Neckar and round off the trip with a picnic. Our generously filled picnic basket is ideal for a meal in the great outdoors. If you don’t fancy pedalling along the Neckar, then maybe a trip on a large passenger boat will be more your style? The solar boat, for example, offers several Neckar trips daily, and you can book tickets from us. You can also explore Heidelberg on foot and enjoy a really memorable stroll, especially along the Philosophers’ Walk.
