Itinerary
Day 1: Heidelberg
This week-long trip begins in the heart of the romantic university town of Heidelberg. We invite you to enjoy the day in the Old Town and to brave the steep slope up to the famous ruins of Heidelberg Castle, where you can take in the spectacular views of the picturesque Neckar landscape. Your evening meal in the partner restaurant will also allow you to enjoy a lovely view, this time of the Old Bridge.

Day 2: Heidelberg & Baden-Baden
Following a generous buffet breakfast, you will start out for the spas and thermal baths of Baden-Baden. Throw yourself into the world of the beautiful people, as you visit the Spa House casino, the symbol of the city. The next couple of nights will be spent in the comfort of a fourstar hotel.

Day 3: Baden-Baden
We recommend taking in the cultural highlights of Baden-Baden on your third day - the ruins of the Roman Baths, the theatre or the ‘Festspielhaus’, which is the second-largest concert hall in Europe. As you take in the sights and sounds of the Old Town, a visit (or two!) to its shops and cafés is highly recommended. Your evening will be spent enjoying a threecourse meal.

Day 4: Baden-Baden & Freiburg im Breisgau
On the fourth day of your journey you will leave Baden-Baden behind, as you travel onwards to Freiburg im Breisgau. On the way, you will pass Lahr in the Black Forest, and the EuropaPark theme park in Rust. A detour to either of these places would be well worth your while, entirely depending on your own interest and mood. Your time of arrival to Freiburg in the glorious Breisgau region is entirely up to you.

Day 5: Freiburg im Breisgau
The Old Town, the Minster and Freiburg’s romantic streams await! Today you will be brought for a guided tour of Freiburg’s charming Old Town, where you can take in the beauty of the Minster and the spectacular view from the town’s very own mountain, Schauinsland.

Day 6: Freiburg im Breisgau & Lörrach
Following two unforgettable days in the sunshine town of Freiburg, you will set out today for Lörrach. Absolutely unmissable are the Rötteln castle ruins, which loom majestically over the Wiesental Valley. Lörrach also has no shortage of castles - treat yourself to a visit to the castles of Stetten or Brombach, or to the moated castle of Inzlingen.

Day 7: Lörrach
Your last day can be spent relaxing and enjoying yourself, as you take a stroll through the shops in Lörrach city centre or the new market square. If your visit coincides with the weekly market - which in fact takes place three times a week! - you should certainly take the time to stop by.
